Authorities looking for Alabama boy abducted by father

TALLADEGA, AL - An Alabama boy was abducted by his father Wednesday and authorities believe they’re trying to reach Daytona Beach.

Thomas Evan Diggs was taken from Arby’s in Talladega by his non-custodial father Thomas Eric Diggs. The 5 year-old boy was last seen wearing camo pants, a green John Deere shirt and a Gap camo jacket.

Holiday purse snatcher arrested in Auburn

AUBURN, AL - Auburn Police have arrested a man who allegedly snatched a purse during the Christmas season.

Police arrested Reginald McBride, 31, from Eufaula on Friday, May 4, charging him with theft of property.

Eufaula man charged with rape, child sexual abuse

EUFAULA, AL (WTVM) -

The Eufaula Police Department tells News Leader 9 John Raymond Ragan, Jr. was arrested and charged with rape and sexual abuse of a 12-year-old child.  

Ragan, 44, of Cottonhill Road in Eufaula was out on bond from Stewart County, GA when the alleged sex crimes against the 12-year-old child were committed on December 7.

Man found dead on the side of the road

BARBOUR COUNTY, AL - The body of a white male subject was discovered on the side of Peacefull Valley Church Road in Barbour County. The Victim was discovered by a citizen and the authorities were called. Sheriff LeRoy Upshaw was among the first on the scene along with Officers from Eufaula Police Department and Eufaula Rescue.

OPELIKA, AL (WTVM) - A high school principal is off the job after getting arrested.  Opelika police say they arrested Clarence Magee, the principal at Barbour County High, for ramming several police cars after an incident at a bar.

EUFALA, AL - Eufaulian Johnny Womack, 56, was arrested Thursday night by U.S. Marshals after earlier reports from the Quitman County Sheriff’s Department that he had kidnapped and assaulted his girlfriend.
